Privacy Policy for Europe Project Finder

Effective date: 23 August 2026

Europe Project Finder is operated by Bedouin Apps Ltd (“Bedouin Apps”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the Europe Project Finder mobile application (“the App”).

1. Information stored on your device

The App allows you to create a profile containing information such as:

The App also stores your saved projects, application status, personal notes, reminders, and notification history.

This information is stored locally on your device and is used to provide project matching and other App features. It is not uploaded to Bedouin Apps, project organisers, NGOs, Google Firestore, or Adapty.

Deleting the App will normally delete this locally stored information. Copies may remain in device backups managed by Apple, depending on your backup settings.

2. Subscription and technical information

Europe Project Finder uses Adapty to display subscription offers, process subscription status, restore purchases, and measure paywall performance.

Adapty may process:

We do not send your Europe Project Finder profile, date of birth, name, interests, saved projects, or personal notes to Adapty.

Payments are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment card or bank account details. You can learn more from Apple’s Privacy Policy and Adapty’s End-Users Privacy Policy.

3. Project information and Google Firestore

The App connects to Google Firestore to download published project listings and updates. These requests do not contain your profile or matching preferences.

As with most internet services, Google may process technical request information such as your IP address and connection details to deliver and secure the service. More information is available in the Google Cloud Privacy Notice.

4. Notifications

If you enable notifications, the App may send alerts about new projects and application deadlines. Notification permission is controlled through your iOS settings.

The App does not upload your profile to a notification server. Matching and scheduling are performed on your device. You can disable notifications at any time through the App or your device settings.

5. Support communications

If you contact us by email, we will receive your email address and any information you include in your message. We use this information only to respond to your request, provide support, and maintain necessary support records.

Please avoid including sensitive personal information in support messages.

6. How information is used

Information processed through the App and its service providers is used to:

We do not sell your personal information. The App does not display third-party advertising.

7. Service providers

We use a limited number of service providers:

These providers process information according to their own privacy policies and their agreements with us. We expect service providers handling information on our behalf to apply appropriate privacy and security protections.

We may also disclose information when required by law or when reasonably necessary to protect users, our rights, or the security of the App.

8. External websites and project organisers

Project listings may contain links to application forms, NGO websites, social media pages, infopacks, or other third-party services.

When you open an external link, that third party may collect information under its own privacy policy. Bedouin Apps does not control the privacy practices or content of external websites and project organisers.

Your App profile is not automatically shared with those organisations.

9. Legal grounds for processing

Where data-protection law requires a legal basis, we rely on:

You may withdraw notification permission at any time through your device settings. Withdrawal does not affect processing that occurred before the permission was withdrawn.

10. Data retention and deletion

Locally stored profile information, saved projects, notes, and reminders remain on your device until you remove them or delete the App.

Subscription and technical information processed through Adapty or Apple is retained according to their applicable retention periods and legal obligations. Support communications are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary to resolve the request, maintain support records, or meet legal requirements.

You may contact us to request deletion of information that Bedouin Apps or Adapty processes on our behalf. We may need limited information to identify the relevant subscription profile or support record.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or portability of your personal information, or to object to certain processing.

Because most profile information remains only on your device, Bedouin Apps cannot access or retrieve that information. You can modify it in the App or delete it by deleting the App.

To make a privacy request concerning information processed by us or our service providers, contact us using the address below. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

12. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13. Profile information, including date of birth, remains on the device and is not sent to Bedouin Apps or project organisers.

If you believe a child has provided personal information to us through a support communication, please contact us so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.

13. Security

We and our service providers use reasonable technical and organisational measures designed to protect information. However, no storage or internet transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, our service providers, or legal requirements change. The updated version will be published with a revised effective date.
